Hi David,
thanks for the fast reply :-)

According to the iomega page it is version 3.1 from the 18th October 2001.

If've got no experience with SCSI devices, but I think it is from Adaptec,
AHA 2940 AU. I hope this gives some support.
Since the problem occured on a machine of a co-worker, who is out of office, I'm
not
able to check more details right now. So it's ok, when I got the problem fixed
until
Wednesday.
Thanks a lot,
Cnut

Cnut:
There is an updated version for NT4 at URL:
http://www.iomega.com/software/ioware311pc.html
Make sure the BIOS of the SCSI controller (hit 'Ctrl A upon boot during POST)
does not have a setting (paraprased because I can't remember exact text) "make
removeable disk appear as fixed disk"
Also, make sure you have the latest ASPI for SCSI installed and 2940 controller
drivers for NT4 installed.
That's all I can think of right now...
Post back findings and results.
Dave

Thanks for this advice. I installed it and now everything works fine.
Now my college is able to eject the medium with the eject function of
the explorer.
Thanks a lot!
Kind regards,
Cnut
