I am not able to get a clear information whether IrDA is support is
available in Windows NT 4.0

Some sites say the there is no IrDA support in Windows NT 4.0 and Quick Beam
suite from Extended systems needs to be used. But also when I search the
Windows Sockets 2.0 API Reference for the SOCKADDR_IRDA, it says this is
supported in Windows NT Professional.

Can I use IrDA layers through windows sockets 2 in Windows NT 4.0?

It's a moot point since NT4 itself is no longer supported !

Time to upgrade !
