I got hit by the SWEN or W32 Gibe-F virus. After I deleted
the files that my Protector Plus anti-virus software
showed as being infected, I lost the ability to double
click any shortcut, or even the ability to open any
programs from the executable (.exe).

A window pops up and askes me to direct it to the location
of a file named "JIUYBW.EXE" so it can run the application.

What is happening here? Is this a real missing file.
Regardless, I still can't open any files...not even
Explorer.

Dave: Go to this page on Symantec's anti-virus site, and
waaay down at the bottom, there's a link to a program you
can run that'll remove the virus.

Best of luck!
