Hello,

I copied some excel files to my cd burner and tried to
read them on my laptop running NT professional...also
tried to copy those files onto floppy.....laptop says I
don't have a cd in the drive....or the floppy drive says
it needs to be formatted.

Compatibility issues?  Is there a trick to make the .xls
files read on the NT system...I have made several floppies
and cd's this evening and tested on 2 desktop pc's running
windows 98 and they are fine.

Trying to get ready for a busy week,.would appreciate any
assistance.
Thanks!

Nothing really to do with the operating system. The CD-Rom issue sounds like
an open session issue. The floppy issue is probably one or the other drives
is bad.
