Unable to install service pack 6 on windows nt 4.0

Hi iam unable to install service pack 6/6a on windows nt
server 4.0
i already have service pack 5 high encryption and went
through the knowledge base and found that service pack
6/6a is 56 bit and cannot be installed on service pack 5
128 bit.
i am not sure how to uninstall service pack 5.
could any one plase advice me as how to uninstall the
service pack from from the machine.
I would really appreciate if any can help in either
installing service pack 6 or uninstalling service pack 5.

Sorry, but I think you're confused.
If you have an high encryption version of the OS you have to install a
high encryption version of the SP.

You will find all versions here
http://www.microsoft.com/ntserver/nts/downloads/recommended/SP6/allSP6.asp

Some OS (designed for export) are indeed low encryption versions and
you will be definitely unable to install a high encryption SP. It's
impossible.

But you may have misunderstood the message the OS is given you.
IE5.5SP2 comes with a high encryption. If you have this combination
(low encryption OS and high encryption IE) you have to rename
%systemroot%\system32\schannel.dll to schannel.dl1
install the SP (without reboot)
rename schannel.dl1 to schannel.dll
reboot
