Two days ago I installed the blaster patch on our 4.0 NT.
Today while trying to boot up we get as far as the begin
log on, but the computer doesn't recognize any keystrokes.
Then after about a minute the Servie Control Manager pops
up with "at least one service or driver failed during
system start up.  Use event veiwer to examine the event
log."  All fine and good, but we cannot move past this
point.  Any Ideas?

Hummmmmmmm.
I hope this does not happen to my server????
Which I do need to redo it anyway, But not this way.

So any information that someone may have about [Judy's] issue.
Would be some VERY useful information for the other
WinNT4 Administrators out here.

Someone suggested the problem might be with the
intellimouse software (knowledge base article 305462), and
that turned out to be the case for my computer.  The link
below had instructions for fixing the problem.  Since my
computer was on a network, I booted it up to the logon
screen, and then made the changes from another computer
across the network.
