This is a work Comp. My boss gave me his old comp. Well he told me that one
day he came into work and his comp would not take his Username and password.
It won't take anyone's. Gives the message please be sure usename and password
are correct, check to see if the  caps are on etc etc. How do I fix this? The
os is Windows NT (2000)

Could be a corrupted SAM database. The only thing I can think of is
trying one of those programs to reset the Administrators password then
go from there. Try a google search like 'password reset windows 2000'
to find a program. If that doesn't work you could try restoring a
recent back up of the registry if you have one.
