Explorer crashes after Security Update

No desktop icons or task bar present following download
of most recent security update. Workstation is on a small
network; only access to data files is via network.
Incorporated knowledge base article 170907; now nothing
but Dr Watson cycling and cycling and cycling.

Hi Art, using the task manager (ctrl/alt/del) goto file
then run and run cmd.exe in the \system32 folder. Once at
the prompt move to the following folder

c:\winnt\$ntuninstallQ823803$

and type in hotfix -y

this should remove the hotfix, reboot and it should be
Ok !!!!!
