I guess the backup wasn't really finished and I ejected
the tape.  It won't take any tape now.  Task Manager won't
let me stop the backup.exe process.  What next??  Thanks.

OK nevermind, I fixed it.  The database actually, requires
that the database (a medical office software using Oracle)
be stopped in order to copy or back up the file.  Once I
stopped the database directly (not reboot) then everything
got happy.  Duh.  :-)
