I no longer want NT as my OS ... i would like to change it
to windows 98.  I bought the disks and tried to format the
drive, but it didn't work.  I tried using seagate ... it
didn't work, I tried removing the NTFS ... it didn't
work.  I am VERY frustrated with this!  NT came with the
computer I purchased, as I thought that I could change it
to 98 when I wanted to, and I am now seeing that this is
impossible.  I've tried everything ... that other people
have tried to tell me to do, and none of it has worked.  I
don't want NT anymore ... it sux ... pls if someone can
help me get rid of it ... I would really appreciate it!

pls and thank you ... Karen

To wipe the drive, some ways include; boot a win98/ME startup disk, run
fdisk and delete all partition information found (as long as NTFS is
primary). Or boot the Windows NT CD-Rom or setup disks and when you get to
the point, delete the existing NTFS and or other partitions found, then
abort the install. Or use a utility named delpart.
