Windows Server Forum / Windows NT / Applications / July 2004Copy Command Problem in AT (Task Scheduler)
We are using Windows NT 4.0 workstation and there are 4 pc in network in WorkGroup Arrangement. I am trying to use AT Task Scheduler to COPY some files from shared folder on onther PC to my computer. The Copy command works well when I use it without AT Task schedule on command prompt. But when I schedule task this command through AT It fail to copy from shared folder on Network. Even I am using UNC method. For example : At \\MyPc 00:10 Cmd /c "Copy \\OtherPc\SharedFolder\*.exe C:\" ^> C:\Temp\LOG.TXT Looking forward for Help. Rizwan By default the Schedule service logs on with the System account (NT Authority), may not have rights to access the network resources.
