I need some help please, My computer has windows nt 4.0 sp1 and I need to know if sp6 is an earlier version or a later version, it does not show up when I scan for updates. Any information would be helpful, thank you You need to update to SP 6a, this is the latest service pack. Kev Reed MCSA SP6 is a later version. There is a SP6a version out there. Do a search on the MS home page and you should be able to find it.
