I have two 2000 Advanced Servers. One running IIS and the other with Windows
Media Services & Encoder. I would like to stream live video to IIS server and
allow access through a firewall. Unicast or Multicast can anybody give me
instruction or help. I have tried different ports and protocols with no luck.
I am connected with broadband (main) and free juno dial up to (test). I have
created a .asx metafile. I can connect to station via Lan but when I try to
access through Juno (dialup) I get a corrupt file message. I have tried all I
know and I am stuck. I would appreciate any help I can get. Thank you

If you can stream from within your local network but not
on the internet, you might have to open ports on the
firewall as mentioned in the following article:
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-
us;189416

You will probably need to open up the ports mentioned for
just the unicast connections. Hope this helps.
