I am running server 2003 & WM Services 9. I can connect to on demand files with older versions of WM Player, such as 7.1 & 6.4 but not with the series 9 player. I have tried this on several PCs with the same results. I keep getting the C00D11B3 error when I try to connect with Series 9 player. I have looked at the online suggestions for this error and have done everything suggested by MS without success. Any ideas???

Just a guess ..

You probably have port 554 blocked on your firewall. The
older players connect through MMS by default (using port
1755 which you probably have opened up), but the new
player will use RTSP over port 554.

If opening port 554 is not possible, you can enable HTTP
Streaming on your WMS9 if port 80 is free on your machine
and open on your firewall. The WMP9 player will roll over
to HTTP if it fails to connect through RTSP.

Hope this helps.
