Is it possible to run Media Services 4.1 on a Windows 2003 Standard
server?  Also, can 4.1 stream content encoded with the series 9
encoders?  I am still stuck using media services 4.1 as the Powerpoint
Producer requires it but would like to be as updated as possible.

Thanks!

Windows Media Services 4.1 is delivered as part of Windows Server 2000.
Windows Media Services 9 is part of Windows Server 2003.  I haven't tried it
myself but I don't think you can get WMS 4.1 on Windows Server 2003.  You
might want to check the Server 2003 site for details.

Hi Jason,

You wont be able to install WMS 4.1 on Win2K3; however, content encoded in
WME9 series encoder will stream from WMS4.1 with a few restrictions.
