Windows Server Forum / Windows Media Server / March 2004Cannot get Media Server to run
I installed Media Server on my Windows 2003 Server. When I go to start Media Services it will not START. It says that the RPC service is not started however, RPC is running. Error code is 214 702 4770. Is there any help on getting this up and running? Any books you recommend? Check that you have the correct server name in the mmc-console for WMS If you have changed your server name after installing WMS, you will have to add your new servername in the mmc-console. |
