I have 2 servers, both running W2K. I intended to have
them both running Windows Media Server(WMS).

After installing Media Server components from the
Add/Remove Program, one of the WMS cannot be run properly.

After some investigation, I found out that 2 programs
(Unicast and Program Station) are not listed inside the
Services.

If I manually launch the two programs, the WMS will still
not work.

Any idea what gone wrong? Because the other server running
WMS is ok.

Thanks.

If the services are not listed under Control Panel/Services I would
suspect that they were not installed completely.  Has it ever worked on
this machine?

Sounds to me like a uninstall/reinstall may be required.

I had tried numerous time uninstall/reboot/reinstall the
Windows Media Server components. But still unable to get
it works.

Any way, thanks for the reply.
