NLB, win2k3 and media server

Hi, simple question, hard answer?

is it possible to use NLB to load balance the media
server?

or shall I use another load balace metod?

Hi Christer

Yes it is. I use NLB to load balance 3 servers and it works a charm. Just add a universal IP to each servers tcp/ip properties and setup your NLB cluster address to use that IP. I have monitored the traffic flow with SNMP software and the load gets distributed very well. You could go and use Cisco Load Balancer if you wanted to
