Hi all,

i have a win2003 enterprise test box and i have a few
questions. I have enabled the NTFS authentication on the
server and it works fine, i simply want to know if its
possible to limit the authenticated user to only 1
connection ? i mean, if the user types his user/pass, NO
ONE else could log in with this same user/pass. in brief,
limit the ntfs user acess to only 1 connection. Thanks
alot for your help and for your time.

Hi Fred,

As far as I know, you will probably need to code an
Authorization plug-in (or get one if a 3rd party plug-in
is available) that will keep track of the number of
usernames that are currently active in a list and if
anyone come up with a username which matches one in the
list, then the plug-in will deny them access.

Please refer to the Windows Media Services SDK on how to
write an authorization plug-in. In your plug-in, you can
look for the "WMS_USER_NAME" in the User context.

Thx,
Ravi
