"Windows Media Resource Kit", from Microsoft Press, is a good book available
at Amazon, Barnes and others online bookstores.
Now, I'm reading "Windows Media 9 Series by example", from CMP Books. There
are many examples to use the platform WM9, not only server - it's
interesting too.
The subject of both is WM9Series, ok?

I have to say that I disagree. I have the "Resource" kit
and it's never been a useful "resource". It's appears to
just be a rewrite of the help files, nothing new or different.
What it does do is use examples to explain things (that
have already been explained in the help files) and that can
help beginners perhaps. However I've ben backward and
forward through the help files and this book taught me nothing.
Hope that helps,
