Hi,
From the FAQ at
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/9series/server/faq.aspx?sectio
n=USINGWINDOWSMEDIASERVICES&question=USINGWINDOWSMEDIASERVICES3#NAME_USINGWI
NDOWSMEDIASERVICES

"Servers running Windows Media Services 9 Series can stream files that are
in the Microsoft Windows Media Audio (WMA), Windows Media Video (WMV),
Advanced Systems Format (ASF), and Motion Picture Experts Group (MPEG)-1
Layer 3 (MP3) formats. "

I believe this is true for Windows Media Services 4.1 too. So, you cannot
stream MPEG files directly from WM Services.

Thx,
Ravi
