With WMS 4.1 you were able to monitor each client
(represented by ther IP address) connected to the server
and see which publishing point they were connected to or
which file (in an on demand scenario) that cleint was
viewing. This was in the "view unicast clients" section of
the web administrator. Is there similar functionality in
WMS 9. I can't seem to locate it. It reports how many
clients are connected to the server as a whole, or to a
publishing point, but no more details. I need the function
to see specifically which clients are connected to what
live stream or video file. Help

Also how do you intsall the web administrator client for
WMS 9

Thanks

Hi Ken,

As for your question:
"Also how do you intsall the web administrator client for
WMS 9"

You can install the Web Administrator component of WMS by
choosing "Add/Remove Programs"->"Add/Remove Windows
COmponent", choose "Windows Media Services", click on
Details, select the "Windows Media Administrator for the
Web" and hit Okay and complete the installation.

This will enable IIS on the box and install a website for
you. You can use web browsers to connect and administer
the WMS through the website. Please refer to WMS
documentation for further information.

Thanks,
Ravi
