Hello Boe!
Windows Media Services doesn't support MOV files to be streamed, you can use
the Encoder to convert them to wmv before streaming.
a second options is to install Media Pack for IIS 7 to enable Progressive
Download, that is the media is downloaded an played in the client computer
by any of his supporting applications. e.g. for MOV the client must have
QuickTime, with Media Pack for IIS 7 you get support for: asf, .avi, .flv,
.mov, .mp3, .mp4, .rm, .rmvb, .wma, .wmv

Can I have both installed? - I'd like to try out media pack without messing
up the stuff I set up in media services.

Thanks - I'm trying to find any info about installing the media pack. I see
info about installing the bit throttling but nothing about installing the
media pack.
