sorting publishing points

Is there anyway to sort or reorder the publishing points by name.
Our server has always displayed them in the order they were created.

I know of no feature within WMS to do this, but you could possibly reorder
them in the ServerNamespace.xml file.

For what do you need to sort the publishing points?

If you need to configure the publishing points and sorting the publishing
points by name will speed up the task, it is possible to write the software
which will display the publishing point in alphabetical order and will do
the task you need.
