Hi!

I have a default fresh installation of W2K3 and after getting
around the "browser too old" error I still get a message from
the web at: http://mydomain:8080/default.asp that "WMS is not
found on the "server_name"".

Is there some default guide about what steps are neccessary to
make this Web Administration work?

Thanks!

Did you add the WMS role?  WMS is not enabled by default, you have to
add it as a role.

Two ways to do this:
     1)  When you first log into your server, there should be a GUI
that says "Managing your server' and under that 'add or remove a
role'   Click on that and follow the steps.
    2) control panel -> add or remove programs -> window components -

Make sure that you install SP2 first

Hi!

Thanks. It appears, that the problem is due to TCP/IP filtering.
WMS and IIS work fine, but WMS Web Admin seems to be using
some special port. (Still looking for information which,
a part from 8080 and 80).  Currently the only pointer I have.

Thanks!
