IE cache and multicast

i have setup a pull publishing point that is using multicast.
i can connect the first time to the live broadcast but after that i get the
generic error of not being able to contact the server.
if i clear my cache (specifically the .asf file) it works again.

anyone know why this is?
i cant have my users clearing their cache everytime they want to open the
stream again.

How are you serving the nsc file?

I seem to recall having this issue before but can't remember what the
solution was.  I'm also not sure how you're ending up with a cached asf file
when using multicast.  You might try setting the nocache option on your
webpage:
