Windows Media Server Web Administrator - weird permission error?

Hi,

I've been trying to get WMS Web Admin online, but it just keeps
malfunctioning... It's running on the local machine, to administer the
local Windows Media Server. The reason I'm using it (in case you
wondered) is the COM-object associated with it
(WMSRemoteAdmin.ASPAdmin).

Unfortunately WMS Web Admin seems to be unable to display any
publishing points. If I create a new pp, it errors with 0x8002802b (no
elements found). However, the snap-in shows the new pp: it has been
created, but WMS Web Admin seems to be unable to do anything other
than create new pp's...

It seems like something, somewhere is configured to only allow
creating new pp's, not to administer/display existing pp's...

Has anyone got an answer to this problem?
Thanks in advance!

The problem was resolved by first backing up files, then removing the
WMS component (+ subcomponents, don't know if that was necessary),
then reinstalling it and repairing the namespace xml-file following
these instructions:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/891773

I hope this post might help someone in the future :)
