I have noticed that if I want to listen to the stream generated by WM9S
clicking on the 'Test Stream'-button, does not work unless I am connected to
the Internet. Why is that? Is there a workaround?

It should work - it ought to use the local (private) IP address of the
server. Is it dual homed or does it have 2 network cards in it ?

If you're running IIS on that box (on port 80) it may be that the
publishing point can't start or can't run http streaming. Try using
the mms or rtsp protocols in the embedded player code to check.

Cheers - Neil
