Windows Server Forum / Windows Media Server / August 2004Problem streaming WMV file over internet
I have a problem.... I am trying to stream a .wmv file over the net and it comes back server not found. I set up an on demand publishing point through WMS9 and it streams fine over our in house network, but when someone external clicks the link it says server not found. Is there something I have set up wrong?? Thanks for any help!! Kevin You have to allow access to that machine from the internet. This includes opening up the ports the server and player need to exchange information.
