Hi All,

Using Windows Server 2003, and Windows Media Services 9, I've created
an on-demand publishing point.

Now everything works fine for wmv files, like this:
mms://myserver.com/file.wmv

But if I'm trying the same thing with avi or mpg file, I get a
"C00D1199: Cannot play the file" error from the WMP.

Am I missing something? Or the Windows Media Services can broadcast
only wmv files?

Thanks,
Danny

WMV, WMA, and MP3.

Thanks man.

So is it possible to broadcast an avi file, using Windows Media
Services?

That depends on what the AVI file consists of:

Even then, I don't think WMS reads AVI files.
