Hello All,
I'm a bit confused on the Windows Time Service setting under Windows 2003
Group Policy.
I want the Domain Controllers to get it's time from external resource,
namely: time.windows.com
and I want all member servers and clients to get it's time from the domain
controllers.
Under System/Windows Time Server for the Domain Controller:
Global Configuration Settings = Enabled
Under System/Windows Time Service/ Time Providers
Configure Windows NTP = Enabled
Configure Windows NTP Client = Enabled
Configure Windows NTP Server = Enabled
Is this correct?
Thanks,
Steven

All you need to do is configure the DC with the PDC-Emulator FSMO role
in the root domain with an external time resource. All other DCs of all
subdomains and the same domain will then sync their time with the DC.
Clients and members servers will then sync the time with their DCs.
That's normal behavior in AD domains.
cheers,
Florian
