Windows Server Forum / Windows 2000 / Update / August 2003Problems with Corel WP 2002
Recently I had to reinstall an operating system for an employee. I installed the operating system and all the updates. When I installed Corel Word Perfect 2002, all indicators reported that the install was successful. But Word Perfect would not launch. I uninstalled and reinstalled twice but still no success. Only after I reinstalled the operating system and all the software BEFORE the Windows 2000 updates, could I successfully open the Word Perfect application. Has anyone else had this problem or any problems with regard to Corel with Windows 2000 Updates? Had the problem with MS word, MS word pad and note pad machine would reboot when opening these apps also had problems with MS access, opinion reports would cause a reboot. All were office pro version 97 only fix for me was to back out SP4. If any one else has this problem with a fix please advise.  SignatureRandy Hergott C.E.T.
