I hope this is the right group.

Hi all,

I have a Win2k system. I reinstalled it on a old machine after a hd crash
and I updated it at Service Pack 4, without installing the previous SPs.

I was trying to install Xming (a software that runs on win2k, as you can
read on its website), and I got a message saying that the program needs
at least Windows NT 5.01.

I read on MSDN, in a page about useragent strings, that NT 5.01 is SP 1.

Why my system is a SP 4 and its version is below 5.01?

My system properties gives me theese infos:

Microsoft Windows 2000
5.00.2195
Service Pack 4

Anyone can help me?

Thanks!

And what happens if you visit MS Update and run it?
