I've got an update that will not install and keeps showing up as something I
need to install.
Autoupdate keeps telling me there is an update (KB832483) ready for install
(I have it set to download and let me choose when to install), I say OK and
it seems to do it's thing. But when I next check the same update is still
ready for install. It also does not show in "Add and Remove Programs".

Can someone help me out of this loop?

So far the only related info I can find has to do with SUS. I don't use SUS.

Hi;

Probably the easiest solution is to download the update and install
manually.  You can pick it up here:

Thanks Sky,
I tried as you suggested and was told that I already have a more recent
version.
So I went and did a Custom update from the site and told it to hide that
update.
I am hoping this will not come back to haunt me.
