Delayed Write Failed

When attempting to update our Microsoft 2000 Server to SP4, we get multiple
error messages that a "Delayed Write Failed".

I've tried the typical reboot and fished around the Knowledgebase but
haven't come across anything that matches our issue.

Any ideas?

Is there anything in the event logs that can give any more clues? I
would suspect either a faulty driver/disk or a running out of free space
on a partition.
