I recetnly ran the auto update from October 11, 2006. When the update was
completed I had lost all users on this machine with the exception of the
Administrator. Email accounts need to be reconfigured and I can't find my
contacts. Has anyone else experienced this? Is there a way to back out the
update?

What type of PC is it?  A networked domain controlled PC or a single PC with
multiple USers.

If the latter, check the follwoing registry key and see if the users are
still listed:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\ProfileList

Check each key's ProfileImagePath and see if they belong to the user(s).
