I hope someone can shed some light on this problem. I have Win2000 SP4
on a Compaq M700 and I am trying to upgrade to SP6.
While the SP is running, I get the window displayed:
update.exe Entry Point Not Found
The procedure entry point setupapi.CM_Disable_Devnode could not be
located in the dynamic link library CFGMGR32.dll.

I have rerun an SP4 install, and I have also tried installing SP5 first-
exactly the same problem.

The CFGMGR32.dll properties are:
Version: 5.0.2134.1
Created: 7.Dec.1999
Modifed: 7.Dec.1999

This seems to be rather old, but why?

I looked the KB and old NG messages, it seems this problem has shown up
before, but no indication how to fix it.

TIA
T.

Looks like I must have landed on the wrong page- SP6 is for NT4, not
Win2000.

That would do it. :)  Thanks for letting us know you got it resolved.
