I have J2SE Runtime Environment updates numbers 4, 5, and 6, installed.

Are these cumulative? If so, can I safely delete #s 4 and 5?

Thanks.

Yes, you can (and should) delete 4 and 5.

Thanks, I went on line, found your advice implicit in installation
instructions for update 6, and did the radical thing: uninstalled all
updates, rebooted, and installed update 6 only.

IIRC, JSE updates were provided by MS via automatic update. You'd think
that the updater would check for earlier versions of JSE and remove
those first... wouldn't you?  :-)

Thanks again.
