Hi,

I've downloaded several updates with Microsoft Windows Update, among
other things the WMF fix. Download was okay, but they aren't installed.
There's no error message displayed, it just says they can't be installed.

Here are some parts of the logfile:
Agent    WARNING: Failed to evaluate Installed rule, updateId = {***}.100, error = 0x80041017
Service    WARNING: GetUserTokenFromSessionId failed with hr 0x800706d3
Agent     * WARNING: Exit code = 0x80240020
Agent    WARNING: WU client failed installing updates with error 0x80240020
Misc    WARNING: Failed to find token for SID *** with hr = 800706d3.

I already tried login as administrator, deactivated firewall, virus
scanner, all other programs... Nothing helped.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

I experienced the same problem, but no one was able to suggest how to
correct it. My ultimate solution was to make a list of all those files, then
I went to Microsoft Downloads page and have individually downloaded all
those files. After I had them all on the HD, there was no problem installing
them.
