Need help to upgrade from Win 98 to 2000xp. I want to wipe my hard drive and
put a clean install. I tried to install advance upgrade from the disk but
now I have 98 and 2000 on board.
Problem is I can't get the disk to boot from the cd, even when I have change
the BIOS settings to 1st Boot device CD Rom.
Please help as I don't want to put it into a shop to do for £50!!!

First problem is that there isn't a "2000xp" version of Windows. If a
bootable CD won't boot in the PC, is it because of the first issue
noted? Perhap the CD drive is not compatible with Windows 2000? How much
grief is £50 worth?
