I have installed this update numerous times, but the notifier won't go away. I would say that this is isolated, but it is happening on two of my machines. Yes, many people. Have you searched this newsgroup? Messages sent Aug 10 with the Subject: "Recurring KB823353" have some suggestions. It's still happening to me, it's annoying but I ignore it. The Update Rollup 1 may cause a problem and may be involved with this one. Don't install it. Check other messages here for more info. Dugie |
