I am having strange behaviour on 3 of my W2000 Servers.

Cannot access Network Places Properties, cannot open Control Panel, cannot
access other system applets.

Any feedback is appreciated.

Hi KP

I had the same problem bet that you can not stop any services, windows
updates never come done.  Believe or not (see newsgroup on windows 2000
servers) it is APC software needs to be updated to v7.0.4.  You will see in
the services that APC SERVICES "STARTING.." (i.e. not started).  You will
have to reboot into safe mode, remove APC software then Voila!  Unbelieve but
true.  You will note that APC has a big notice on the site about this
problem.  Of course you should upgrade APC Powerchute software....  Goodluck
