I have 5-6 printer drivers that simply will not install
via windows update on some of my windows 2000 SP 4
servers.

There was a fix suggested in KB / Q814033 however that
does not work. That fix suggested that there are
obsolete inf file in c:\winnt\inf and that the update
woudl fix it - but it didn't

Too bad they came so close to fixing this... then didn't.

Other suggestions ?

I have had nothing but trouble with drivers and windows
update. I would suggest never using those drivers.
