I am trying to run a windows update for windows 2000.

The "Critical Update and Service Packs"  to install
is "Microsoft .Net Framework 1.1 Service Pack 1"

The service pack did download but when the installation
begins, I get the following errors:

SL6BBC.tmp - Common Language Runtime Bebugging Services
Application has generated an exception that could not be
handled.

Process id=0x7d8 (2008), Thread id=0xf4c (3916).

Click OK to terminate the application.
Click CANCEL to debug the application.

By clicking cancel, I get a window as follows:

SL6BBC.tmp - No debugger found.

Registered JIT debugger is not available. An attempt to
launch a JIT debugger with the following cammand resulted
in an error code of 0x2(2). Please check computer settings.

cordbg.exe !a0x7d8

Click on Retry to have the process wait while attaching a
debugger manually.
Click on Cancel to abort the JIT debug request.

I don't understand what settings has to be changed or how
to "attach a debugger manually", so the installation can
be completed.

Tryed to contact Mircosoft, but no help.
