I have four computers in a home network. Three are
relatively new systems running XP ahe last a bit older
is running Windows 2000. The older sytem meets or
exceeds all the minimun criteria for operating XP. Would
I get any significant benefit from upgrading the older
machine. Someone suggested I reinstall 2000 as I was
getting slow operations and some windows closing. Any
advise anyone could give me would be helpful.

Personally speaking the upgrade doesn't offer anything significant. Speaking
as a win2k and winxp user.
In any case one shouldnt upgrade anything that has a problem, unless you
know specifically that it will cure the problem
