   Delete all thrid party port monitors
from registry hklm\system\currentcontrolset\control\print\monitors

delete all the print monitor except

BJ language
local port
pjl language
standard TCP ip
USB monitor

Print Spooler stay around 99% at all times, updated system
with the lastes patches, still no good, can anyone help.

Hi James,

Also, in Windows 2000 can we check the folder
c:\winnt\system32\spool\printers. This folder should
be completely empty. If there are files in the printers folder, delete
them. If there are files located here
we may be dealing with a bad print driver.

Next in hklm\system\currentcontrolset\control\print\environments\windows NT
X86\print processors\
is there any HPPRN02 or HPPRN03. If yes identify what printers are using
them. Change the processor used
for these printers to "winprint" the delete these 2 keys HPPRN02 or HPPRN03.
