I hope someone can help. I received automatic notification
that there were updates from microsoft(patches, I think)
that I should down load and install. These updates were
numbered KB837009,1167,7001, 8741, 5732. I have done this
type update in the past with no problem. This time the
down load completed and I was asked if I wanted to
install. I said yes and the window saying installation
process appears. However 30 minutes later nothing has
happened. I do a ctl, alt, del and see the application
running. Whan I terminate it through the task manager it
says that it is not responding. I know this is sketchy at
best but does anyone have any ideas how to install or
start over.
Thank You
Greg

Have you tried just installing one at a time??
If not, give that a go.
Cheers

Jack,
Yes, I have tried several times with all and 1 and 2, etc.
Stil no success. The installation window just sits there
doing nothing.
Thanks for the suggestion.

>LPM,
Thank you for the suggestion, however the patches(?) were
never installed so when I attempted to uninstall they were
not listed.
I have downloaded KB837009, KB831167,7001, 8741,5732,I
think succesfully but they will not install. The
installation program just sits there.. I don't even know
if it starts? I am starting to wonder if these updates are
really worth it!!!
Any suggestions how to get the installation program to
execute would be appreciatted...
Thank You,
Greg
