Just what I said -- every day when I log on, the Update icon is displayed in the tray and the installer installs the same update, in my case 832483 "QFE Hotfix." I've seen some posts to Usenet about this with both this update and others. How do I get it to quit????? The patch is for MDAC 2.52, 2.53, 2.62, 2.70, 2.71 or 2.80 so if you want to upgrade to one of those versions that should fix the problem for you. Upgrading to 2.8 is recommended. Otherwise you will have to set WU to ignore the update until the fix is published - which should be very soon.
