sp4 express installation

in the middle of setting up sp4-express, my computer
stopped and supplied me with this error message..." Setup
failed to remove ism.dll script mappings....Service Pack
Setup will abort." It was 65% setup at the time, and I
never archive old files....any sugggestions????

#1 Start archiving SP files.
#2 Try disabling IISAdmin and W3SVC in Services and try installing SP4
again.
