After approx. 7 minutes connecting on Internet I get error
message: "Svchost.exe Has Generated Errors and Will Be
Closed by Windows". After that I can't cloce connection,
copy-paste not work and other many things go wrong. I must
restart the computer. Has anyone any idea to fix this bug?

Your aware this module can be associated with viruses.
Welchia as example.  A virus check may be in order.

This is normal. It tells you that virus (Worm. MSBlast) has
suscessfully attacked & disabled one of your service. If
your computer is still up and running, it's ok.

Just keep using it or restart your comp to activate the
service again.

Solution (Recommended)
======================
1) Find a Firewall software and lock up the following ports!

4444,69,135
666-765 (lock ports from 666 to 765)
139,445,593

2) Try to download latest Service pack 4 & the patch
(Fixing the MS holes)

P.S. Scanning may not work for some anti-virus softwares.
Here is one V. COOL system cleaner (FREE)
from Trend. It helps you to remove worm from memroy &
infected files from hard drive.

Fix the bug? You probably got the MSBlaster Worm mate.
Check out the following:

Open C: Drive,
Open windows folder (windows, or winnt)
open system32 folder
open wins folder
Does this folder contain 2 file? svchost.dll & dllhost.exe?

If so you got MSBlaster worm. Find a copy of nachigui, or post back and I
help you further.

i have the same problem!
i read, that the blaster worm is not the reason for the problems... is it?
in my system32 directory there is only the file dllhost.exe, but not the
file svchost.dll.
what can i do now to avoid the svchost.exe-error?

where can i download an update against the ms blaster worm (i couldn't find
it on microsoft.com)? or is it included in sp4 for win2000?
